How are attraction age ratings determined?
Age ratings are based on a combination of factors. Simply put, they’re based on how much a child of a particular age will be likely to enjoy an attraction. Sometimes this is a question of ability, as small children won’t be able to fully take advantage of a horseback riding adventure, for example. Other times it’s a question of interest, as you might find your 13-year-old’s experience at the children’s museum to be more disinterest than discovery.
