Can I sync my MiniTime Trip Plan with other calendar applications?

Stay in sync using the “Export Calendar” option. This feature allows you to sync your Trip Plan with many different applications including, Google CalendarYahoo CalendariCal, Microsoft Outlook, iPhone and Android. Follow the instructions below to learn how!
 
 
Google
 
To add an iCal feed to your Google Calendar:
  • Go to your Trip Plan.
  • Click “Export to Calendar.”
 


 

  • Copy the URL that appears in the pop-up.


 
  • Open a new browser window.
  • Go to your Google Calendar.
  • Click on the “Other Calendars” dropdown.


 
  • Select “Add by URL.”
  • Paste the URL in the selected text field of the pop-up.

  • Click “Add Calendar” and you are done!
 

OR
 
Manually import the iCal feed to your Google Calendar:

  • Go to your Trip Plan.
  • Click “Export Calendar.”
  • This time click “Download the File.”
  • Save the file wherever you wish. You will need it later.
  • Open a new browser window.
  • Go to your Google Calendar.
  • Click on the “Other Calendars” dropdown.


 
  • Select “Import Calendar.”
  • A pop-up should appear, allowing you to choose a file. Find the file you just downloaded from MiniTime and select it. You can also choose where you would like to save the calendar information.


 
  • Click “Import” and you are done



Note: Google Calendar will automatically sync with your Android calendar 

Yahoo
 


 
iCal
 
To add an iCal feed to Apple iCal:

  • Go to your Trip Plan.
  • Click “Export Calendar.”
  • Click on the URL that appears in the pop-up.
  • If iCal is not already chosen, choose the application that you wish to open.


 
  • An iCal pop-up will appear and you will see your URL in the “Calendar URL” box. Hit "Subscribe."


 
  • Another pop-up will appear that allows you to edit. You may change the settings or the name of the calendar if you wish; just hit “OK” when you are done.


 
  • Finished? The calendar feed should show in the sidebar under “Subscriptions.”



 
Outlook
 
To add an iCal feed to Outlook:
  • Go to your Trip Plan.
  • Click “Export Calendar.”
  • Click on the URL that appears in the pop-up.
  • If Outlook is not already chosen, choose the application that you wish to open.
  • A pop-up will appear and you will see your URL in the selected text field. Click “Add.”


 
  • Another pop-up will appear entitled “Subscription Options.” You can set up a display name for your calendar here and add a description if you wish.


 
  • When you are finished editing click “Ok” and you are done!
 
iPhone

To add an iCal feed to your iPhone:
  • Go to your Trip Plan.
  • Click “Export Trip.”
  • Copy the URL that appears in the pop-up.
  • Email the link to yourself (must be an email that you can open on your iPhone).


 
  • Grab your iPhone and view the email.


 
  • Tap on the link.
  • Tap “Subscribe” on the pop-up that appears.


 
  • You are done! You don’t even need to sync your iPhone. If you want to see your Trip Plan in your Calendar, tap “View Events” on the final pop-up.



Android


 If you are using Google Calendar and have an Android, your Android calendar will automatically sync with Google Calendar. This means that when you export your MiniTime Trip Plan to Google, your Android will pick up on the changes, keeping your mobile in sync as well.
